My first ramen after arrival was Sumitani! Ramen shop right across from Akita Station, they specialize in spicy ramen.

I ordered the medium 3x spicy (800 Yen) which had good amount of spiciness for me. They have up to 100x spicy (1800 Yen)😖
中辛(３倍)のから麺をいただきました。個人的には辛すぎなくてちょうど良かったです。辛さは100倍まであるそうです。
Very nice firm medium noodles. Noodles itself tasted good.
