Back to Ban Nai for my last ramen of 2017. 坂内さんに2017年ラーメン食べおさめ。Ramen with 5pcs extra chashu and ajitama. チャーシュー５枚と味玉をプラスでいただきました。

Got some gyoza too.  今日は餃子も。

Love the medium thick noodles. 喜多方ラーメンの中太麺大好き。The egg is $1.00.  How awesome is that! I say it is Eggcellent!  味玉が＄１。最高。エッグセレント！

The only Kitakata style ramen in the Northeast. The homemade Kitakata style noodles are thicker than what you would normally see. It goes perfectly with their shoyu as well as the green chili shio soup. They are open from 10:30 am so one of the only places you can enjoy ramen in the morning.

New Jersey Ramen

It's been a few months since I've been to Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai so I decided to go today. They are located inside a Ranch 99 supermarket in Jersey City, NJ.  As their name says, they specialize in Kitakata style ramen and are a very famous chain in Japan. They also have 2 shops in CA and one in IL. I think they are working on a new shop in NYC as well.
今日は数ヶ月ぶりにジャージーシティーにある喜多方ラーメン阪内に行ってきました。Ranch 99 と言うアジアンスーパー内のフードコートにあります。日本でも有名ですがアメリカではニュージャージー 以外にカリフォルニアに２軒、イリノイに１軒、あとはマンハッタンにも近々開店する予定のようです。

I never tried this before, so I ordered the Mixed Boiled Vegetable Shio Ramen today ($9.95).  It's got lots of vegetables and also their signature chashu. 

Same home made thick flat noodles that Kitakata ramen is known for. 

I also ordered the small chicken karaage bowl. So full. ミニ唐揚げ丼も注文　お腹いっぱいだ。

Went to Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai in Jersey City, NJ for a rainy Saturday brunch!
今日は土曜日、あいにくの雨ですがニュージャージー州ジャージーシティの喜多方ラーメン坂内にラーメンブランチに行って来ました！

My choice today was the Green Chili Shio Ramen. I like their shoyu ramen but I like this one just as much. Added ajitama egg for $1.50.
今日はグリーンチリ塩ラーメン。ここの醤油ラーメンも大好きですがこれも同じくらい好み。$1.50 で味玉追加。

Awesome house made noodles, wavy thick type.
自家製麺、手もみ太縮れ麺でとても良い感じ。

The napa cabbage matches very well with the green chili spiciness. Good amount of spice, enough to make you sweat a little bit!
白菜がグリーンチリの辛さによく合う。ちょっと汗かくくらいの丁度良い辛さ！
