Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Bassanova Ramen - Chinatown, NYC

Bassanova Ramen - Chinatown, NYC🇺🇸
バサノバ - ニューヨークチャイナタウン

Located in Manhattan's Chinatown, Bassanova Ramen is a branch of a popular Tokyo ramen shop.  They are famous for their green curry ramen. Today I tried the Lemon & Black Pepper Tondaku Ramen. It's a pork tonkotsu broth, not sure how tondaku is made but it is pork based. It had black peppers, 4 slices of lemon , 2 pieces chasu, kikurage, sesame, some fried onions and scallions. The thin noodles are made by Sun Noodle. Overall different from other shops.
Restaurant is located in Chinatown in half basement so you may miss it if you aren't paying attention.

They are CASH ONLY.
