Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Ramen Zundo-Ya - East Village, NYC

Ramen Zundo-Ya - East Village, NYC🇺🇸 CLOSED DECEMBER 2018

Famous tonkotsu ramen chain from Himeji, Japan. Opened in NYC in December 2015. You can choose the richness of your tonkotsu soup, and can choose from thin or thick wavy noodles.  My preference is the rich soup with thin noodles, cooked firm.  They also serve Wafu Ramen (fish and pork broth) which I have not tried so will need to return soon.
Ramen here is authentic and quality is consistent.

Ramen - Tonkotsu Ramen
Location - East Village, NYC
Price - $13 and up
Visited - Multiple times
