Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖
アメリカでは豚骨の事をなぜか”とんかつ”という人がたくさんいます。。気になってしょうがない。トンコツって覚えてちょうだい!!

Mouko Tanmen Nakamoto - Yokohama, Kanagawa 🇯🇵 蒙古タンメン中本 - 神奈川県横浜

Yokohama Ramen

Visited the famous Mouko Tanmen Nakamoto in Yokohama today! Around 90 degrees and super humid, I waited on line for about 45 minutes but all well worth it!
I had the Mouko Tanmen which is spiciness level 5 out of 10. It is a miso based tanmen with lots of vegetables topped with their original spicy mabo tofu. Pretty spicy, but good spicy. I sweat like half a gallon on line outside, then another half gallon eating this lol.

Storefront
They have over 20 shops in the Tokyo and surrounding areas. This is a must try if you are fan of spicy food.
