Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Ichiran - Midtown West, NY 🇺🇸 一蘭 - ミッドタウンウエスト、ニューヨーク

The famous Ichiran opened their first US branch in Brooklyn in 2016. They opened this second shop in Midtown Manhattan shop in March 2018. They are famous for their Tonkotsu Ramen and the solo eating booths.
I ordered rich oil, firm noodles and all others medium. You need to fill out your preference once you are seated at your booth.

Basic ramen is $18.90 plus tax... Noodle portion was very small. Luckily they were handing out free kaedama (extra noodles) coupon so I was able to eat extra. No tipping needed, but still expensive.
