Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Ippudo Westside - Midtown West, NY 🇺🇸 一風堂ウエストサイド、ミッドタウンウエスト、ニューヨーク

Visited Ippudo Westside today for some early evening ramen. This is the second Ippudo in NYC located in Hell's Kitchen area.
I have been wanting to try their Ichiraku Ramen, their classic shoyu ramen with bonito broth.
Noodles are very good here. I liked the shoyu soup as well.  Souperb.
Karaka-Men for my ramen friend

Overall very good quality ramen, understandable that this is one of the most popular ramen shops in NYC. Always crowded and often a long line so expect a wait, or go at non-busy times.
