Just a reminder to all ramen fans! Pork bone broth is "TONKOTSU", NOT "TONKATSU". TonkAtsu is breaded deep fried port cutlet, not pork bone broth!!
Hint: If a server says Tonkatsu Ramen at a restaurant, don't expect authentic ramen. Ton = Pork🐷, kotsu = Bone🍖

Koku Ramen - Midtown West, NY 🇺🇸 こくラーメン - ミッドタウンウエスト、ニューヨーク

Visited Koku Ramen today for lunch. A Japanese-Korean fusion ramen shop, just opened in April 2018 right in middle of Koreatown, Manhattan.
My choice was the signature Koku Ramen, tonkotsu soup with spicy chili added. You can choose spicy level from 1 to 3, so I chose 1.  Plenty spicy for me!

My friend ordered Koku Ramen with level 2 spiciness.  A little more red than my level 1.
Menu- Lunch price is grand opening special price.
